Climate groups sue over Trump's orders to expand offshore drilling

Environmental groups file two lawsuits against the Trump administration on Wednesday .

Both focus on the president’s moves to open up more of US waters to oil and gas drilling, which the plaintiffs say are illegal.

The lawsuits will probably be the first of hundreds of environmental lawsuits filed by green groups against the administration.
