A list with over 350 names appeared in the New York Times this week to protest the proposed plan by President Donald Trump to bring peace and stability to the Palestinian people in Gaza .

Frida Ghitis : The plan that they are protesting is the proposal to relocate Palestinian refugees out of a war zone and the rubble that will take a decade to rebuild. This will allow these people to rebuild their lives, a luxury afforded to nearly every other refugee from every other conflict. The signers of this ad are against this plan because it hurts their cause, not the Palestinian one.
