William L. Anderson : Recent California wildfires have exposed the follies of never-ending progressive governance there.

Despite huge wealth created by businesses in the state, California still “enjoys the nation’s highest poverty rate, thanks to its progressive governments.

California progressives claim that only “deniers’ don’t see climate change as a doomsday challenge that can be fixed only by rejecting oil, gas, and coal energy.

William L. Anderson : Gov. Gavin Newsom and other California officials give lip service to the kind of things that need to be done to prevent the huge loss of homes and lives.

He says the oil companies are entirely to blame for these fires: They should pay the bill for damages and for rebuilding.

Anderson : Even though evidence is piling up, California ’s progressive government agencies still resist doing what must be done.
