Steven Rinella brings survivalist skills to trace America’s greatest mysteries - Washington Examiner

MeatEater host Steven Rinella is taking his skills as a survivalist, thrill -seeker, and master storyteller to the History Channel .

The eight -part series will take viewers on an outdoor adventure steeped in history while trying to solve some of America ’s most enduring mysteries.

The series begins on Jan. 28 .

Rinella said he really enjoyed the personal aspect of it with the lost colony of Roanoke .

“There is also a real meat-and-potatoes delivery of a narrative because you’re needing to explain something that’s quite factual,” he said.
