California Governor Gavin Newsom passed the buck when asked if the "buck stops" with him in relation to the state’s poor response to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles .

Newsom made the remarks during an interview that aired Sunday on NBC News ’ “ Meet The Press ” when asked about the investigation that he ordered into why there were water supply issues.
