Pennsylvania farm leaders applaud aggressive action against avian flu - Washington Examiner

Gov. Josh Shapiro spoke at the 109th annual Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg .

Shapiro said he would remain proactive and aggressive in establishing a nation-leading surveillance-testing system.

Shapiro stressed that he and Pennsylvania Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding have been on the road visiting farmers across the spectrum in the state.

Shapiro warned that he could not say that the state would be bird flu-free forever.
