The American Psychiatric Association publishes a door stopper, The Diagnostic Statistical Manual , Fifth Edition (DSM) Sutter says it's unclear who, exactly, will be included in neurodiversity.

Those suffering from mental illness are similarly protected as those with certain sexual and racial identities.

For them, neurodiversity, like protected racial and gender identities, bestows benefits.

Ironically, rewarding mental illness status may only increase it. Ironically, the mentally ill promote diversity.

It would be insane not to stop this inclusion before it gains traction..
