Goalie Stuart Skinner will not be on the plane to Vegas on Monday afternoon as the Edmonton Oilers start their road trip.

Skinner , who took an inadvertent knee in the head Wednesday in the 4 -3 loss to Dallas , would normally be the go-to guy against the rival Golden Knights .

Calvin Pickard will start Tuesday in Vegas with farmhand Olivier Rodrique , up from Bakersfield because of Skinner ’s uncertain status, maybe in the picture to start his first NHL game in San Jose Thursday .
