A crowdsourced data platform has named the world’s safest countries for travel in 2025 in terms of crime.
The U.S. landed at 89th with a score of 50.8 — despite reports that violent crime has been on the decline, shrinking back to pre-pandemic levels last year .
The most dangerous country, per the survey, was Venezuela , which ranked 146th for safety.
