I'm going to show you how to activate your lats before training your back
42% Informative
Back is a hard one to train because you can't see your back.
To truly effectively train your back you need to feel the muscle working or mind muscle connection.
We're going to do 2 different one stretch and one exercise to activate your lats before we go straight into training our back.
We'll be doing 4 sets. Aim for about 12 reps at a 2 second eccentric.
A drop set usually counts as one set. If you struggle with barbell rows or have an imbalance, use a dumbbell to do bent over rows.
Make sure you really focus on squeezing your lat at the top of the movement. Aim for four sets, 11:50 reps and keep the eccentric phase the tempo to about 3 seconds when bringing dumbbells back down..
Don't rush it, you don't need to put too much weight on, just be careful of technique fire.
Make sure that you will you feel the muscle every time you're training your back.
Don't forget to leave a thumbs up because you guys did on the chess video and it's awesome.
