It existed about 188 to 194,000,000 years ago .
The Cryolophosaurus became extinct about 65,000,000 years ago towards the end of the Cretaceous period .
Fossils were found on Mount Kirkpatrick in the Beardmore Glacier region of the Transantarctic Mountains , Antarctica .
It was the 2nd dinosaur and the third theropod discovered in Antarctica .
