Scientists Just Discovered an Impossible Particle

Antimatter is created by colliding two particles together at high enough speed that one splits into two pieces (matter and antimatter) that fly apart.

The energy that this reaction releases is ridiculously giant and is higher than any other reaction known in physics.

To study it for any practical application, scientists must find a way to create and sustain more antimatter particles at a time than we currently can.
