Calgary saw the steepest rate decline of all major rental markets across Canada according to a new report by Rentals.ca.

Asking rates for two -bedroom apartment rentals in the city went down by 7.2 per cent and a one -bedroom by six per cent , compared to rates in January 2024 .

The city’s rental vacancy rate jumped to 4.8 per cent in October .
