•Slow starts finally catch up to Roughnecks in home-opening loss

Calgary Roughnecks return to Scotiabank Saddledome for first time since Dane Dobbie and Curtis Dickson were reunited.
But the home opener couldn't carry the team to a 14 -10 loss to the rival Vancouver Warriors .
Dickson : “Excitement and anticipation,” when asked of the buzz between him and Dobbie ahead of their return to the Dome .
The Warriors whipped the ball past Roughnecks goaltender Cam MacLeod 10 times in the first half and four more in the fourth quarter .
With his two goals, Dobbie moved into top five all-time in NLL regular-season goals ( 553 ) Dobbie also moved into the top 10 all time in the league with 1,154 points.
“The coaching staff puts a gameplan in front of us, and I don’t think we executed it,” said Dickson .
