CATL has unveiled its new battery packs, whose shape is reminiscent of a chocolate bar.
Called Choco-SEB (for Swapping Electric Blocks ), these modules are designed to be easily interchangeable, simplifying replacement.
The company plans to install 1,000 such stations across China by 2025 , with a long-term target of 30,000 nationwide.
The aim of this initiative is to considerably reduce the time it takes to recharge electric cars.
