•Wall Street is concerned about an inflation resurgence in 2025

Deutsche Bank chief economist Matthew Luzzetti says inflation will continue in 2025 .
The Federal Reserve sees core inflation hitting 2.5% next year , then cooling to 2.2% in 2026 and 2.0% in 2030 .
Luzzett : "We expect a gradual deceleration from where we are, but to levels that are still uncomfortably high for the Fed " President-elect Donald Trump's proposed policies could be inflationary.
Luzzetti sees zero interest rate cuts from the Federal Reserve next year for that reason.
Still, the economist believes that whatever tariffs Trump does choose to implement will lead to higher inflation over time.
He says the US economy will remain resilient throughout the course of 2024 , despite uncertainty and its bumpy path to 2% inflation.
