•T-14 Armata's Armor is Worse Than We Thought?
49% Informative
The armor of the Russian T14 Armata tank might not be as good as people originally thought it was.
We got several images of testing of the new explosive reactive armor unique for the T14 .
Both the side and the front of the turret appear like they can be penetrated by autocannon.
The only thing in the turret that would get damaged is the main gun.
Monolith ERA appears to work similar to Relict 's active active armor, but it doesn't completely stop APF as the S projectile does not mean anything.
From the pictures we have, it does seem to be pretty thick, but again, we don't really know anything about it.
The roof of both hull and the turret are supposed to have a thick layer of ERA on them, but the armor under the ERA is just regular steel.
