•Residents want change at 'terrifying' intersection where vehicle struck child

A 12-year-old boy suffered life-altering injuries when he was struck by a vehicle at 210th Avenue S.W. on Dec. 13 .
Residents are calling for more safety measures at the intersection where it happened.
The boy was taken to hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
The family has obtained legal counsel to investigate taking action on the matter, a source said.
“I look constantly back and forth because I don't trust anybody. It’s just not safe,” Chelsey Chelsey said.
Stop signs on Belmont Drive S.W. were put in about a year ago .
“They should focus more into this community, just because this community's growing,’ said one resident.
