•More flight cancellations possible as pilots reject compromise proposal in Finnair dispute
77% Informative
Finnish Air Line Pilots' Association ( SLL ) has rejected a proposed settlement put forward by the national labour conciliator aimed at resolving a labour dispute.
SLL has not announced any further work stoppages, but a ban on standby shifts, which are intended to cover sick leaves and other unexpected absences, may lead to individual flight cancellations.
Finnair spokesperson Päivyt Tallqvist: "Changes may occur at short notice".
