The former St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in King Edward Park is being transformed into housing.
The church was originally erected as a place of worship by German immigrants in the 1950s .
The federal government pitched in $2.84 million to build the units for operation by the Right at Home Housing Society .
Completion of the emerging structure is set for December .
