•TCL QM7 2024 Review: Cheaper Doesnât Mean Worse
53% Informative
The TCL QM7 is an excellent QD-mini-LED TV that supports excellent picture quality with a bevy of HDR options.
The TV supports both HDR+ and Dolby Vision , but this isn't the best TV for big families or for watching in direct light.
It has a solid number of audio ports, 4 K HDMI ports, HDMI and USB , and USB ( one 3.0 and another 2.0) The base audio is fairly loud, but you’ll still want to eventually invest in a soundbar or extra speakers.
The TCL QM7 is the kind of TV you can live with with you live with.
The image quality is so much more washed out than in any other modes I can’t recommend.
The game bar is rudimentary if you’ve used any modern smart TV in the past few years .
The TV will automatically pair to your Home app on your phone if you want to get in easier.
You can do far worse for the money you might be spending on the QM7, especially if you get it on sale now for under $1,000 .
The three big issuesâlimited viewing angles, glare, andGoogle TVâare not hard to overcome.
