Both campaigns have spent months preparing for post-election courtroom fights, drafting potential lawsuits and responses.
Trump and his allies have already begun claiming there is no verification for overseas or military ballots, that election officials are using early voting to commit fraud.
Analysts are predicting the closest election since 2000 , when George W Bush won a Florida recount by 537 votes against Al Gore .
Meanwhile, Nigel Farage has said that if Trump is beaten in a “clear and decisive” victory for Harris he should accept the result and “play golf at Turnberry ”. The Reform MP made the comments in an interview with the Telegraph at Trump ’s home in Palm Beach in which he also said Harris should pardon Trump in order to “dampen” potential tensions if she wins. However, he said it was “hypothetical” as he still thinks Trump will win..
