NASA 's Artemis II mission, scheduled to launch no earlier than September 2025 , will be first humans to travel to the moon in more than 50 years .

One landmark experiment streamed 4 K video on a round-trip journey from an airplane flying over Lake Erie in Ohio , to the NASA Glenn Research Center in nearby Cleveland , to LCRD in New Mexico , to ILLT on the ISS , and then back.
