Includes 15 m for the National Railway Museum in York and 10 m for National Museums Liverpool .
10 m was set to go towards the British Library North and 5 m towards the National Poetry Centre in Leeds .
Campaigners are now engaging with the Government in the hope of reversing the decision.
Ms Brabin said she remains committed to delivering the “transformational” projects for Leeds .
She said she is convinced of the power of culture to drive economic growth and deliver regeneration in the places which really need it.
The Science Museum Group , which runs the National Railway Museum in York , said the Government is consulting with a number of public bodies that were recipients of the Levelling Up Culture and Capital Projects funds.
