Members of CUPE Local 3550 take on the provincial government’s wage cap.
With 92 per cent of eligible members turning out to vote, and 97 per cent in favour, the local's first strike vote tallied Saturday was overwhelming.
The local has never had a strike vote in its 34-year history.
