Windsor police say some of the 13 vehicles recovered this week had been reported stolen.
Harbour master Peter Berry says it’s “a criminal act” to dump a car in the Detroit River .
One vehicle had a baseball bat in its trunk, and another had a bag full of dabbers.
By the end of Wednesday , 13 vehicles and one trailer had been retrieved and dry out on shore.
Police investigate as multiple vehicles pulled from Detroit River in west Windsor.
Berry said cars have been dumped in other Port Windsor slips, “but they’ve all been able to float back up.
“It’s just the nature of a port city — we have a river. It's a perfect dumping ground.”.
