Adam Golebiewski was only 17 when the crash happened in Macduff , Aberdeenshire .
He was a passenger in a car alongside friends when it crashed in the early hours of September 8 .
The teenager was taken to hospital, where his legs were amputated below the knee.
He celebrated his 18th birthday during his rehabilitation in hospital in Aberdeen .
