York Regional Police’s hold-up unit is looking for at least three attackers while appealing for witnesses.
Officers responded to a commercial plaza in the Yonge St.-Meadowview Ave. area for a report of a robbery.
Police said the victim was driving through the plaza when his vehicle was boxed in by a white Lexus SUV and a white Mercedes-Benz .
Three suspects exited their vehicles, then proceeded to assault the victim and steal a black carry-on style suitcase containing cash.
