Supreme Court of Canada struck down major sections of the IAA last fall because they confiscate for Ottawa powers given to the provinces by the Constitution .

In June , the Liberals with help from the NDP passed amendments designed to bring this federal power grab in line with the Constitution . The amendments do no such thing.
