Kaspersky researchers have discovered a new Trojan malware called Necro .
Necro is the same malware that infected a popular document scanner called CamScanner in 2019 .
The malware infects apps downloaded through unofficial sources but also those on the Play Store .
Google is aware of the Necro malware and, as I mentioned above, it has taken down the affected apps.
If an app requests access to features that seem unnecessary for its function, it could be a sign of malicious intent.
Do not give any app accessibility permissions unless you really need to.
Avoid granting permissions that could compromise your personal data.
