B.C. NDP leader David Eby announced a new path to homeownership that would see the province cover 40 per cent of the sale price on select developments with a 25-year loan.
The overall cost of the program is estimated at $6.45 billion over five years , which means the annual cost is expected to be around $1.29 billion .
