Muslim mayor of Hamtramck endorses Trump, wants Gaza cease-fire

Mayor Amer Ghalib of Hamtramck , Michigan , says he and former President Trump discussed a cease-fire in the Middle East and on the domestic front.

He is one of the more prominent Arab American leaders in Metro Detroit to publicly back Trump over Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris in the race for the White House .

"He may or may not win the election and be the 47th president of the United States ," the mayor says.
