Both running backs are closing in on 10,000 career rushing yards.

The last running back to surpass that milestone was Marshawn Lynch in December 2017 .

The two entered the NFL at the same time, as the first two running backs selected in the 2016 draft.

Henry and Elliott share a similar running style, a blend of power, tenacity and breakaway speed.

Ezekiel Elliott has 30 100-yard games in the regular season and two more in the playoffs.

Derrick Henry tops the NFL in rushing yards ( 6,115 ), runs over 10 yards ( 139 ) and touches reaching at least 20 miles per hour (22) "Not many guys have achieved it, and so it's definitely a blessing," Elliott says.

"I think I'm like 500 yards away," Henry says.

The Browns' Chubb ( 6,511 yards ) and Philadelphia Eagles' Saquon Barkley ( 5,415 yards ) have played six seasons .

The Saints ' Alvin Kamara is in his seventh season and off to a fast start with 198 yards in two games.

Elliott and Henry are in their ninth seasons , pushing the envelope of a running back's durability.
