The FCC Chair , Jessica Rosenworcel , had to put out a statement on the very basics of the First Amendment : “The FCC does not revoke licenses for broadcast stations simply because a political candidate disagrees with coverage or dislikes it.
There has been an ongoing effort to pull the license from a Fox affiliate in Philadelphia , based specifically on Fox News admitting that it broadcast false information about the 2020 election.
Ted Cruz went on a rant about how “the job of policing so-called misinformation’s belongs to the American people—not the federal government”.
