Researchers carried out 10 air surveys between 1,000 and 3,000 meters above Japan .
They found viable bacteria and fungi transported by aerosols originating in China .
Bacterial species including E.coli, C.diff , Clostridium botulinum, Haemophillus parainfluenzae, Acinetobacter baumannii and several Staphylococcus species were among those identified.
Fungal species such as Candida, Cladosporium and Malassezia were also identified.
