Catherine Engelbrecht , founder of True the Vote , is planning to create a "dropbox surveillance reality show" The group has pushed election conspiracies for over a decade.

The group says it will donate cameras to sheriffs in Wisconsin and other states to monitor dropboxes.

Local officials in charge of running elections in Wisconsin are concerned that round-the-clock surveillance could spur potential voter intimidation.

The group says they would provide cameras to “sheriffs where possible, other individuals where necessary ” It is unclear where these cameras would be located, given that they would need to be in situ permanently to provide 24-hour coverage.

If such monitoring interferes with voting, then that could result in criminal charges that carry penalties of up to six months in prison.
