•The Supreme Court Just Signaled What It Will Do If the Election Is Close
76% Informative
Supreme Court signaled it would revisit an issue it had settled over a decade ago , allowing a new Arizona law to go into effect requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote.
This is the latest signal that the justices are in cahoots with former President Donald Trump and may be prepared to meddle in the election, unless it is decided by margins too large to tamper with.
John Avlon : Supreme Court ruled in 2013 that Arizona could not require proof of citizenship to vote.
He says a few thousand "federal only" voters in Arizona have not submitted additional documentation.
Avlon says the court’s last-minute changes to election rules could make a difference in November .
