•China objects to new sanctions on firms aiding Russia
69% Informative
39 companies in China and Hong Kong have been added to a list of entities that face special export controls when doing business with U.S. firms.
The list includes companies that have been helping companies affiliated with the Russian military obtain goods that cannot legally be sold to them.
China calls the move a typical act of unilateral sanctions and long-arm jurisdiction, state-run Xinhua news service says.
