Inflation Reduction Act's two-year anniversary brings big wins for clean energy, says Julian Zelizer .
Zelizer: IRA is the single biggest piece of legislation to address climate change, saving millions of households over $8 billion on energy-efficiency upgrades.
He says 334,000 new clean energy jobs have been created across the country; more than 3 million households have collectively saved $ 8B on upgrades that will save them money and make their homes more energy efficient. Zelizer says throwing everything at combating climate crisis is also the way America wins in the next economy.
I am excited for all the pictures to come if we get this right. Ben Jealous is executive director of the Sierra Club and a professor of practice at the University of Pennsylvania . Send letters to [email protected]..
