The Boeing 720 was a commercial airliner produced in the 1960s and used by various carriers worldwide.
Boeing 's 720 was derived from the B707120, but with four fewer frames in front of the wing and one behind, as well as Kruger flaps outboard and wing modification in the form of a thicker inboard section to increase local sweep and thus lower drag.
On January 2, 1962 , Captain Abdullah Baig piloted a PIA Boeing 720B at a world record-breaking speed of 938.78 km /h as it traveled from London to Karachi in Pakistan .
The band then had to find an alternative, chartering another plane called Caesar's Chariot . The Starship changed ownership several times from 1977 to 1979 and was eventually dismantled for parts in 1982 . Have you ever had the chance to see the Boeing 720 ? Or even better to fly on it?
