A new visualization shows what happens when a camera falls into a black hole.
It travels 400 million miles from Earth to a supermassive black hole, the point of no return.
The project generated about 10 terabytes of data and took about 5 days running on a NASA supercomputer.
“This situation can be even more extreme,” Schnittman noted. “If the black hole were rapidly rotating, like the one shown in the 2014 movie Interstellar ,’ she would return many years younger than her shipmates.”.
