•Here's what we know about Tesla's robotaxis
52% Informative
We're all assuming we know what this is going to look like, but we don't.
The idea of Robo Taxi is varied. There's no driver in in in it's sort of purest form.
You hail a ride on an app, an autonomous vehicle turns up, you get in, there is a driver who's not touching the world, but is there in case things go wrong.
Then there's the Tesla version of of what Elon Musk has described over the past few years as his vision for robo taxis.
If the robotax is our success, whatever success then pretty much looks like Uber 's market value, 140 odd billion dollars .
Tesla has a huge, there is a huge market here in autonomy that's very, very clear and there are hurdles to that. The regulatory environment is the consumer acceptance etcetera. Those are things that Tesla has to get if it gets ask that all of a sudden you have a very huge market for desert.
