The Algerian boxer is accused of failing a gender test despite competing in the sport for years without controversy.
The Russian -backed IBA has every reason to sow chaos and discord at these Olympics , a typical Russian move.
The other boxer banned by the IBA for a supposed gender test, Lin Yu-Ting , won her featherweight match by unanimous decision.
Some sports have come to an agreement on how so-called “differences in sex development” are regulated in their sports through testing, testosterone suppression drugs and other means.
But where's the line of what’s fair? And, more broadly, do we really need one at all? We certainly don’t do it with men.
Sadly, the anti-trans crusaders are making pariahs out of women who have done nothing wrong.
